Real Madrid are reportedly in talks with Bayern Munich defender Dayot Upamecano over a potential transfer.The 27-year-old's contract with the German club expires at the end of the current season, and negotiations for a new deal have stalled.

According to reports, Upamecano has verbally agreed to join Real Madrid as the Spanish club looks to strengthen its defense.

However, Upamecano cannot officially sign a contract with any team until January 1st, and Real Madrid are also interested in signing Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate.

Konate, who is out of contract in 2027, is reportedly seeking a move to the Spanish capital.
