The talks between Liverpool and Crystal Palace are taking place first, out of respect for both clubs. Liverpool is hoping to reach an agreement on a fee, reportedly around £35 million.
Before approaching Guehi directly, the clubs are trying to find common ground. This move by Liverpool may also attract other interested teams, such as Newcastle United.
