Crystal Palace centre-forward Jean-Philippe Mateta has expressed uncertainty about his future with the club.Mateta recently received his first call-up to the senior France national team and spoke to local reporters about his situation at Selhurst Park.

In the interview, Mateta mentioned that it is natural for ambitious players to strive for higher goals.

He noted that being part of the national team and surrounded by top players who compete in the Champions League and win major trophies can be a motivating factor.

Mateta's current contract with Crystal Palace runs until 2027.
