Bruno Fernandes, Manchester United's captain, has a buyout clause in his contract that allows him to leave the club for a reduced fee in 2026.The clause, worth £57m, can only be triggered by a team outside the Premier League, meaning United may lose Fernandes to a foreign club in two years.

Fernandes has denied rumors of a move to Al-Hilal in the Saudi Pro League, stating he is committed to United and happy under manager Ruben Amorim.

The buyout clause was reportedly discussed with Al-Hilal last season, but Fernandes has since confirmed his loyalty to the club.
