Conte, who has a proven track record of success with Juventus, Inter Milan, and Chelsea, took over as Napoli's manager in June last year and led the team to a Scudetto title in the recent season. He believes that the team's recent success has created a sense of responsibility and that they must be aware of their status as favourites.
Conte highlighted the importance of learning from past mistakes, saying, "What happened two years ago must be a lesson, especially to the environment. We are on the field and we work, there will never be any flights of fancy. We will be very humble."
Napoli has strengthened their squad with the addition of players like Kevin De Bruyne, Noa Lang, and Luca Marianucci. De Bruyne, a highly skilled midfielder, joins the team with a wealth of experience from his time at Manchester City, where he won numerous titles, including six Premier League titles and one Champions League crown.
Conte hopes that De Bruyne will help Napoli take their game to the next level, saying, "He comes to us to take on a new challenge, it is a different situation for him too: he has already reached very high levels in his career and has a lot more to give to football."
Napoli will begin their pre-season with a friendly match against Arezzo on Tuesday.
