Lukaku expressed his thoughts on De Bruyne's decision to join Napoli: "I didn't advise him to come. I simply told him to be ready, as he always has been for Manchester City and the national team.
"We've known each other since we were 13 years old, and we've been friends ever since. I'm happy he's here, but it was his decision to join Napoli, and we're all glad he did."
