At just 23 years old, Elanga joins the Magpies for a reported £55 million fee after impressing in his first season with Nottingham Forest in the Premier League.
During the 2024-25 campaign, Elanga scored six goals and provided 12 assists in 43 games across all competitions, showcasing his skill and potential.
As a result, Elanga will now become a Champions League player with Newcastle United, following a strong finish to the season that saw the team edge out Nottingham Forest.
When speaking to the club's media team, Elanga expressed his excitement and readiness to join the team.
"I'm excited, I'm happy, and I'm ready," Elanga said.
"I'm ready to wear the black and white jersey and give everything for the passionate fans who love football," he added.
Elanga also thanked Nottingham Forest for helping him develop as a player over the past two years.
"I had an amazing two years at Nottingham Forest," he said.
"They helped me become the player I am today, but I'm excited to be part of something new and special here at Newcastle United," Elanga concluded.
"I want to be part of the culture and DNA of this club," he said.
