Barcelona was reportedly interested in signing Sesko next summer to replace Robert Lewandowski, who is 36 and still scoring goals at an impressive rate. Despite Lewandowski's age, he scored 42 goals in 52 games last season, but Barcelona doesn't plan to renew his contract when it expires.
As a result, Barcelona will be looking for a new striker to sign next summer, after losing out on Sesko to their rivals at Manchester United.
