This deal is reportedly worth €20m for this season. The long-term goal is for Enciso to eventually join Chelsea. This collaboration makes sense, given that BlueCo, the parent company of both Chelsea and Strasbourg, is driving this transfer.
Enciso had a brief stint at Ipswich Town midway through last season. Recently, he was not included in Brighton's squad for their opening Premier League match against Fulham.
Chelsea has also sent a few players to Strasbourg on loan for the new season, including goalkeeper Mike Penders and defenders Kendry Paez and Mamadou Sarr.
