Birmingham City and Wrexham are among the clubs interested in signing Koumas on a permanent transfer.
Koumas had a successful loan spell last season with Stoke City in the Championship.
Other teams, including Norwich City, Preston North End, and Hull City, are also eyeing Koumas before the transfer deadline on September 1.
Koumas was left out of Liverpool's Premier League 2 match against Leicester City, which may indicate that a move is likely.
